Colorado State University (CSU) offers master of science programs
through five departments in the College of Natural Resources: Earth
Resources (Watershed Science); fishery and wildlife biology; forest
sciences; natural resources recreation and tourism; and rangeland
ecosystem science. Master's programs in international watershed
management, natural resources management, and the graduate
degree program in ecology are also available.

Thirty semester credits > are required to complete the program.
Candidates are required to write a professional paper integrating issues
related to the field experience with their area of academic experience. The
program of study is individually designed to meet the students professional/
career objectives, taking into consideration the needs of the Peace Corps and
the host country. Students can apply to one of the five departments
and indicate their desired specialization.

Benefits

Eight semester internship credits may be earned for the Peace Corps
assignment; competitively based scholarships, research and teaching
assistantships may be available through the academic departments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a
program-related discipline; 3.0 GPA; GRE (judged relative to the
student's desired specialization); three letters of recommendation;
and a statement of professional/career objectives. Applications must
be sent directly to the Office of International Education, 315
Aylesworth Hall, Colorado State University, Ft. Collins CO 80523-1014,
six months prior to the semester for which students are applying.
